Millom Town Council Achievements
MESSAGE FROM COUNCILLOR RUTH PETER, ACTING MAYOR
Millom Town Councillors work for the satisfaction of helping our community. There is no other reward.
We are delighted to announce that work will commence on the redevelopment of Millom playpark on Monday 4th January 2021. From this date the current playpark will be closed and the area closed off for safety. The gates closest to Lowther Road will be closed for the duration of the development. Some equipment will be delivered over the coming week in preparation for the work starting in the new year, this will be monitored on our new CCTV and we’d urge everyone to please stay away from this equipment. Tennis Courts etc can still be accessed via the gates closest to the library / banks. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

Press Release: Funding approved for Phase 2 of the new play park in Millom.
