


About Millom Town Council
We have 15 Ward Councillors which meet on the last Wednesday of every month to discuss current topics, finance and planning issues. The meetings are chaired by the town Mayor who resides for one year.
Millom Town Council are responsible for Millom and Haverigg Parks and Public Toilets, Haverigg Foreshore and the Beach Cafe, Earl St and Lincoln St Allotments.
Millom Town Councillors are all voluntary.

I thought it might be interesting to list a few of the major projects Millom Town Council has completed this year in conjunction with our normal day-to-day work.

If the Recycling skips are full at Haverigg, please do not leave items or bags on the floor next to the skips as this causes alitter problem in the area. Please take home or to the next available skips, there are some located in Tesco carpark at Millom. The skips are emptied by Copeland Borough Council over the course of the week.
